About Capo D'Orlando

Located in the Nebrodi area, a small Sicilian mountain chain, it is considered an essential fishing village in the province of Messina.

Capo d'Orlando rises on the Northern coast of Sicily, affording tourists and locals a fabulous view of the Aeolian Islands.

It was founded on the ancient village ruins of Agatirno, which was named after Eolo’s son, who built it during the Trojan War (1218 BC). It was renamed much later by the Normans to Capo d'Orlando as we know it know. A great little place to explore some brilliant history.
